Het is van groot belang om een goede basis in te zetten met de hond als je agility begint.
Goed aanleren van technieken en toestellen is belangrijk voor de toekomstige wedstrijd hond.
Daarom is het vaak veel beter om te starten met privelessen en later pas in een groepsles te trainen.
Regelmatig zie ik bijvoorbeeld dat de echt in potentie goede jonge agility honden, gek zijn op 'actie' en daardoor helemaal door kunnen draaien tijdens de training.
Oorzaak kan zijn dat ze andere honden zien rennen en vliegen over de baan met als gevolg dat de baas vervolgens nauwelijks controle
meer heeft over zijn hond op moment dat ze de baan op stappen.
Frustratie al om, en men bereikt er niets mee...
Ik zie graag dat de hond uiterst positief gemotiveerd blijft om te willen werken met grote precieze, maar ook met snelheid en gedrevenheid.
Ik zie graag dat de hond mij vraagt om te mogen werken, en dit terwijl hij daarnaast ook gewoon heerlijk huishond mag zijn.
En dat handlers in staat zijn om dichtbij hun hond maar ook op afstand van hun hond te kunnen werken,
immers weet je van te voren niet wat je nodig hebt in een parcours.

TIP:
Investeer in een goede basis training, dit is altijd makkelijker en beter voor de motivatie van hond en handler
dan later eventueel ontstane problemen op te moeten lossen...
LOKATIE:
De agility lessen worden buiten gegeven in Putten.
Ik geef prive lessen, of samen met 1 andere persoon zodat er goed afgewisseld kan worden.
Het is ook mogelijk om mij op uw locatie te laten komen lesgeven (groeps-, of privélessen).
Ook is het mogelijk dat ik een seminar (theorie en/of praktijk) dag(deel) geef voor groepen
met indien gewenst een PowerPoint presentatie met daarin video beelden en/of foto's.
Prijzen zijn op aanvraag.
It is of the biggest interest to put up good basic skills with your dog when you start training agility.
Teaching the technics and the obstacles in a proper way is important for a future competition dog.
Therefor it is often a better idea to start with private lessons and later train with a group class.
I often see that the young potential agility dogs in spe, which are crazy on ‘action’ completely go out of control in a group class
when they see other dogs run around and fly over the course, on which the handlers have no control over the dog anymore when they enter the course.
Frustration all around, which leads to nothing…
It is of the biggest importance that the dogs remains highly motivated to be able to work in duration with a will to please and highest precision.
I like to see a dog that will ask me to please do some work together, while in the meantime he can be a lovely pet dog as well.
I like to see handlers being able to work close by their dogs but also to be able to work at a distance,
because you never know what you need at a parcours on a competition that day.

Invest in correct basic training, which is always easier than trying to solve problems in the future…
LOCATION:
The agility classes are held outside in The Netherlands in Rucphen or in the DIT-halls in Bergen op Zoom, and in the near future also in Ermelo.
I teach private lessons or with a pair of dogs so we can change.
It is possible to let me come to your location to teach (group/private), or maybe at a local dog school.
There is also the possibility to let me do a seminar (theory/workshop) for a day for groups with if wanted PowerPoint presentation with video and images.
